About The Game

A tower defense roguelite where creativity is your strongest weapon. In this constantly evolving battlefield, you’ll combine modular parts to craft powerful, one of a kind towers, each with its own unique visuals, behaviors, and tactical strengths.

As enemy waves escalate and evolve, so must your defenses. Synergize elemental traits like Ignition, Cryo, and Spark, or lean into specialized archetypes such as Hunter, Puncture, and Concussive to hold the line. Every run throws new challenges your way, there’s no perfect strategy, only clever improvisation.

The game has been in development for 11 months, and we’re currently in the production stage. We are hard at work refining systems, building new content, and pushing the game toward something that’s both deeply strategic and endlessly replayable. We plan on introducing new towers, systems, and especially revamping the art.

🛠️ Development Process

This project began as a passion piece between me and my co-founder, TJ Yadisernia, driven by a shared love for strategic gameplay and replayability. Built in Unity using C#, we’ve been iterating from the ground up — crafting a game that blends the tactical depth of tower defense with the evolving structure of a roguelite. Our vision from day one: build something modular, replayable, and full of discovery with every run.

🧪 Iterative Design

Development has been highly iterative. We started by prototyping core systems — especially towers — and explored how modular components could interact in fun and emergent ways. Over time, this led to our signature features: tower combinations, component traits, and adjacency bonuses.

Each new system introduced new challenges:

  • Balancing overpowered synergies without losing that “broken build” thrill.

  • Creating meaningful randomness that still lets players plan.

  • Optimizing for performance with 100+ enemies, multiple towers, and feedback effects all happening in real-time.

🎯 Systems in Focus

At the heart of the game is a modular tower system, designed to scale and evolve. Players combine components mid-run, stacking effects, traits, and bonuses into wild synergies. A simple turret can become a chain-lightning arc node or a concussion pulse cannon depending on your choices.

We’re constantly fine-tuning the balance between chaos and control. Randomized parts and upgrade pools create variety, but your strategic decisions — positioning, combinations, and build paths — define the outcome.

Waves are designed with a rising threat curve, encouraging adaptation and experimentation. Enemy types, path pacing, and map layout all work together to push the player toward smarter, tighter builds.
